Huge, central, superb facilities and decent for families. This vast resort is divided into 3 ‘zones’. Sprinkled around vast lawns, cottages in the ‘Hide Zone’ are brightly-painted, separated by 10m-15m, and feature verandas dripping with vines. In motel-style blocks only metres from a second pool, rooms in the ‘Hub Zone’ have a massive bathroom, extended alcove with a comfy sofa, and sizeable balcony/patio. They are all spacious enough for an extra single bed without feeling cramped, and many rooms have connecting doors. Special Family Rooms are also available. The Infinity-edged pool in the ‘Hip Zone’ overlooks the beach, and another boasts a swim-up bar. Sai Kaew Beach has golden sands and noisy jet-skis, while the private beach is quiet, but rocky, and any patches of sand are like to disappear at high tide. And there is a tiny playground on a shady patch of grass. The poorly-signed entrance is along a back road, about 200m from the main street and another 500m from the ferry terminal.
