Review of Inn at Laurel Point

Inn at Laurel Point – This four-star eco-friendly waterfront hotel is newly landscaped with an award-winning garden. It is tucked away in James Bay and walkable to downtown Victoria alongside the picturesque Inner Harbor. The hotel’s Aura Restaurant and Patio offers some of the best harbor views and food in the city featuring small shareable plates with a focus on Pacific NW seafood and fresh ingredients from their garden. Amenities include an indoor heated pool and a small gym. The hotel’s Laurel Wing offers basic rooms. The newer Erickson Wing offers the best rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, some with water views, and larger marble bathrooms. Pets are welcome in select rooms.

    Laurel Wing is the original hotel built in 1979. Basic rooms with a small step-out balcony and bathrooms are smaller. Erickson Wing is newer and the suites are larger and brighter, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows – some with water views, balconies with glass railings, and larger bathrooms with deep soaker tubs, double sinks, and separate showers.
