The Best Hotels in Jodhpur
This graceful, two-century-old, upmarket hotel-cum-guesthouse is more like a museum. All twenty-one rooms are individually decorated with family heirlooms and overlook one of two courtyards. The haveli is in a premier location in Jodhpur: deep within the Old City, and close to the iconic Clock Tower and Sardar Market, which is pleasingly clean, quiet, and hassle-free. • Review of Pal Haveli

The large eighteenth-century guesthouse, located within the Old City, features contemporary, resort-like amenities such as lush gardens, choice of restaurants, large spa, guest lounges converted from stables, and resort-like pool (and the only one in Jodhpur heated in winter). All rooms are spacious, contemporary in design, and very comfortable, and most offer direct views of the magnificent fort from a private garden on the ground floor or large balcony. It also actively encourages families, and is surrounded by chic boutiques and classy cafés. • Review of Raas Jodhpur

Adorable colonial-era guesthouse, featuring English gardens, terraces with wicker chairs, rose gardens, large guest lounge, and a resort-style pool. The twenty spacious rooms are packed with old-fashioned furniture, and offer modern bathrooms. Rooms face communal terraces that overlook European-style tiled courtyards with fountains. The guesthouse is located in a more pleasant part of suburbia, with clean, safe, and quiet(ish) streets, halfway between the airport and Old City. • Review of Ratan Vilas
