Hotels near the Eiffel Tower (7th Arrondissement)

Me and my wife in the 7th, Paris.

Why Stay in the 7th: Iconic Views in an Elegant Setting

The 7th Arrondissement is the Paris of postcards. This is where you will find the Eiffel Tower, grand Haussmannian avenues, and some of the city’s finest museums. The vibe here is elegant, polished, and surprisingly quiet for such a central and famous district. It feels more like a chic, upscale residential neighborhood than a bustling tourist hub, which is a huge part of its appeal. I highly recommend the 7th for first-time visitors to Paris who want those iconic Eiffel Tower views, couples on a romantic trip, and museum lovers.

Best Things to Do in the 7th Arrondissement

• The Eiffel Tower: The undisputed main attraction. Go up for the views, have a picnic on the sprawling Champ de Mars park at its base, and be sure to come back at night to see it sparkle on the hour.
• Visit World-Class Museums: The 7th is home to an incredible trio of museums. The Musée d’Orsay houses the world’s best collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art in a magnificent former train station. The Musée Rodin is a beautiful mansion and garden filled with the artist’s famous sculptures, including “The Thinker.” And Les Invalides holds Napoleon’s tomb and the excellent Army Museum.
• Shop and Snack on Rue Cler: This is the neighborhood’s beating heart. Rue Cler is a famous, charming market street lined with fromageries (cheese shops), boulangeries (bakeries), florists, and specialty food stores. It is the perfect place to assemble a picnic to take to the Champ de Mars.
• Walk Along the Seine: Stroll along the riverbanks and across the city’s most beautiful bridge, the ornate Pont Alexandre III, which connects the 7th to the Grand Palais on the opposite bank.

Best Hotels in the 7th Arrondissement

The 7th is known for its stylish boutique hotels and elegant luxury properties.

Luxury Hotels
J.K. Place Paris: An ultra-chic and exclusive hotel with impeccable Italian design that feels more like a private home than a hotel.

Le Cinq Codet: A stylish hotel with a modern, art-filled, loft-style design, located on a quiet street near Les Invalides.

Le Narcisse Blanc: A gorgeous and sophisticated hotel and spa inspired by a 19th-century Parisian muse, offering pure elegance.

Pullman Tour Eiffel (15th Arr.): Technically in the 15th, but it’s right on the border and offers some of the best, direct, up-close views of the Eiffel Tower from its rooms and balconies.

Hôtel Montalembert: A chic and historic literary-themed hotel, perfectly located on the border of the 7th and Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

The chic, literary vibe of Hôtel Montalembert, a longtime favorite in the 7th Arrondissement. Situated on the border of the 7th and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, making it an ideal base for exploring the best of the Left Bank.

Mid-Range & Boutique Hotels
Cler Hotel: A charming and stylish hotel located right on the famous Rue Cler market street, putting you in the heart of the neighborhood action. My favorite mid-range hotel in Paris.

Hotel de L’Empereur: A fantastic-value hotel with a classic Parisian feel, located directly opposite the golden dome of Les Invalides.

Le Petit Chomel: A cozy and beautifully decorated boutique hotel on a quiet street, just steps from the high-end shops of the 6th Arrondissement.

Hotel La Comtesse: My favorite hotel for Eiffel Tower views on a moderate budget; nearly every room has a direct, side-on view of the tower.

Hôtel de Londres Eiffel: A simple and charminghotel offering great value and a fantastic location near the Eiffel Tower.

Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel (15th Arr.): A large, modern, and reliable mid-range hotel with an indoor pool, located on the river just a 10-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.

Getting Around

Walking: The 7th is very walkable. You can easily reach all its major sights on foot and can walk to the neighboring Saint-Germain-des-Prés (6th Arr.) in minutes. But I would call it slightly clearly less central than the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain.

Metro: The area is well-served by the Metro. Key lines include Line 8 (École Militaire, La Tour-Maubourg), Line 12 (Assemblée Nationale, Solférino, Rue du Bac, Sèvres–Babylone), Line 13 (Invalides, Varenne), and Line 10 (Ségur).

RER: The RER C line is incredibly useful, with stops at Champ de Mars–Tour Eiffel, Pont de l’Alma, and Invalides. This line runs along the river and also takes you directly to the Palace of Versailles
