Bassin de la Villette is the best public swimming area in Paris with two children’s pools, one 1.2 meter-deep pool, and one 2-meter deep pool. Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. free of charge with lifeguards from July through September. Facilities include, changing rooms, showers, restrooms, sunbeds, and umbrellas. Located in the 19th Arrondissement.
