1. Four Seasons Resort Whistler
The best luxury hotel for families in Whistler. Year-round resort offering spacious 1-bedroom (family of 4), 2-bedroom (family of 5 or 6), 3-bedroom (family of 6), and 4-bedroom residences (family of 8) with cozy wood interiors and superb forest, mountain or valley views from furnished terraces. Rustic-style residences have deep soaking tubs, full kitchens, queen-sized sofa beds, a gas-burning fireplace, and guest powder rooms. The hotel offers ski concierge, 1 restaurant, a heated free-form outdoor pool, and access to 3 golf courses. Kids can enjoy a junior golf program, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and snowboarding. Special adventures such as a chance to explore ice caves or play golf on a remote glacier that’s only accessible by helicopter can be arranged. Both Whistler village and the Base of Blackcomb mountain are a short walk away. The only drawback for the Four Seasons is that it’s not a ski-in/ski-out resort. The best ski-in/ski-out resort in Whistler. Situated steps away from 2 gondolas (Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains) this all-suite hotel offers practical lodge-style two-bedroom suites (families of 6) that are more like mini-apartments with mountain, village or valley views. One-bedroom suites sleep families of 4. Rooms feature fully-equipped gourmet kitchens, private balconies & gas fireplaces. Opt for mountain view rooms for the incredible views and the views of the fire & ice shows. Also enjoys a great location in the village close to shopping and restaurants. Fantastic location in the center of Whistler Village and steps from restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. This is an all-suite hotel a short walk from the Whistler Village and Blackcomb gondolas, offering tasteful one and two-bedroom suites with kitchen, sofa beds, gas fireplaces, and multiple balconies. Suites offer exquisite views of the Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and/or the Village walk. Bonuses include a free breakfast and convenient slope-side ski lockers at its sister Mountainside resort. Aside from 2-bedroom suites (family of 6), its best rooms are its spacious 3-bedroom, 2-level penthouse suites (up to 10 people) with jacuzzi soaker tubs, dens, sofa beds and breathtaking mountain or village views. Spacious, 2-bedroom mountain view, loft suites (up to 6 people) are the highlight of this boutique hotel, set in Whistler village, a 5-minute walk away from the lifts. Loft suites feature high ceilings, wood accents, contemporary furnishings, an electric floating fireplace, Playstation, a full kitchen, and a private balcony. Choose the loft rooms on the 3rd floor or rooms away from the clubs/pubs for less noise. Ideal for large/extended families. Has an outdoor heated pool (open seasonally), 2 hot tubs and a dry sauna.
