All of the hotels listed below are located in downtown Tacoma, close to many shops, bars, and restaurants, and within walking distance of the Tacoma Convention Center, Washington State History Museum, Museum of Glass, Tacoma Art Museum, and Children’s Museum of Tacoma. The Tacoma Dome, America’s Car Museum, and the Tacoma waterfront are nearby, but will probably require a taxi or light rail for most people. Sea-Tac International Airport is 25 miles and a 30-minute drive (in light traffic) from downtown Tacoma. Do keep in mind that staying in Seattle and driving down for a day trip or evening concert is easily done.
