The 6 Best Hotels in Friday Harbor, San Juan Island

Friday Harbor is the main town on San Juan Island. It’s where the marina is located and the Anacortes ferry arrives and departs. (There was no Clipper service from downtown Seattle in 2022. Not sure what the plan is for summer 2023.) There are also seaplane flights to the airport and marina from Western Washington cities.

Friday Harbor is a town of about 2500 people, popular with tourists and well-stocked with restaurants, cafes, bars, and small shops. There is also a grocery store, brewery, whale watching tours, a movie theater, bowling alley, and 3 small but interesting museums.
