Best Hotels in Paros with Private Pools

Paros has an excellent and fast-growing collection of luxury hotels with private pools. The important thing is to book the right room, not just the right hotel. At most properties, only specific suites have private pools, and there is a big difference between a small plunge pool, a full swimming pool, and an outdoor jacuzzi.

My Favorite Paros Hotels with Private Pools

  • Best Overall: Cosme – beachfront luxury and an easy walk into Naoussa.
  • Best for Couples: Mythic – private pools, sunset views, and an adults-only hillside setting.
  • Best in Naoussa: Cosme – the best combination of private pool, beach, and walkability to town.
  • Best Beach Hotel: Cove Paros – private-pool suites directly on Agioi Anargyroi Beach.
  • Best for Privacy: Oroséa Paros – every suite has its own private pool.
  • Best Sunset Pool: Luura – Cliff – west-facing private pools with views toward Antiparos.
  • Best for Families: Andronis Minois – large suites, private-pool options, and easy beach access.
  • Best Value: Paros Palace Suites – private pools and sunset views without Naoussa resort prices.

What to Know Before Booking

  • Private does not always mean secluded. A private pool is reserved for your room, but it can still face a walkway, restaurant, main pool, or neighboring terrace. Privacy varies a lot between hotels and room categories.
  • Most private pools are not heated. This matters most in May and October and on cool or windy days in June and September. Jacuzzis and hot tubs are typically heated; swimming pools and plunge pools typically are not unless specifically described as heated.
  • Location matters as much as the pool. A private pool is much less useful if you spend every evening arranging taxis. Stay in or close to Naoussa if restaurants and nightlife are a priority. Rent a car for the more remote hotels.

Hotels in Naoussa & Northern Paros

Naoussa has the highest concentration of luxury hotels, restaurants, bars, and nightlife on Paros. The hotels right in town or along Piperi and Agioi Anargyroi beaches are the easiest choices if you want a private pool without relying on taxis every night. Hotels farther from Naoussa offer more space and privacy, but they are not a substitute for staying in town.

Private pool at Avant Mar, one of the easiest private-pool hotels for walking into Naoussa.

Cosme – Naoussa

Cosme is my favorite private-pool hotel in Naoussa. It sits directly on Agioi Anargyroi Beach and is about a 10-minute walk from the center of town, which is a hard combination to beat. Astro and Cosmos Suites have private pools, some with excellent sea views. The pools are not especially large, but you also get the beach, spa, restaurants, big main pool, and easy walks into Naoussa for dinner.

Cove Paros – Naoussa

Pick Cove if you want something smaller and quieter than Cosme without giving up the beach or Naoussa. It is also on Agioi Anargyroi Beach and about a 10-minute walk from town. Cove Signature Suites have private pools on large terraces. Cosme has more resort facilities; Cove feels more intimate.

Avant Mar – Naoussa

The location is the reason to book Avant Mar. It sits on Piperi Beach and is about a 5-minute walk from central Naoussa. Several suites have private plunge pools, including rooms with sea views. If you want a private pool and plan to eat in Naoussa every night, this is one of the easiest hotels on the island.

Parilio – Kolymbithres, near Naoussa

Parilio is for travelers who want quiet more than walkability. Sun Suites have private pools, while other suite categories have jacuzzis. The hotel is near Kolymbithres and only a short drive from Naoussa, but it is not somewhere I would stay expecting to walk into town for dinner. Use the hotel transfers or rent a car.

Lilly Residence – Naoussa

Lilly works well for couples who want to stay close to town. Several suites have private plunge pools; others have outdoor jacuzzis, so check the room name and description carefully. The hotel sits just above Agioi Anargyroi Beach and is a short walk from central Naoussa. It does not have Cosme’s resort facilities, but you are paying for a smaller adults-only hotel in a very convenient location.

Oroséa Paros – Outside Naoussa

Oroséa is not in Naoussa, despite sometimes being described that way. It is an adults-only resort outside town, and every suite has a private pool. The terraces are positioned to give better privacy than at most hotels where pools sit side by side. Stay here for the pool, privacy, and resort time. Stay at Cosme, Cove, or Avant Mar if walking into Naoussa is more important.

PAROCKS – Ambelas

PAROCKS makes sense if you want sea views and a private pool without staying near the crowds. Several rooms and suites have private pools facing the water. There is also a spa, restaurant, and large shared pool. Ambelas is quiet, but Naoussa is a drive away. Rent a car.

Vione Paros – Ambelas

Vione is a good pick if pool size matters. Junior Suites, one-bedroom suites, two-bedroom suites, and the top Vione Suite are available with private pools and sea views. The larger terraces give you more usable pool space than the small plunge pools found at many Naoussa hotels. Ambelas is quiet and attractive, but you’ll want a car.

Private Pool Hotels on the West Coast

The west side of Paros is best for sunset views and easy access to Parikia, Pounta, and Antiparos. Some of the island’s most private hotels are here. Rent a car if you stay outside of Parikia.

The private pools at Mythic have some of my favorite sunset views on Paros.

Mythic – Agia Irini

Mythic is my favorite Paros hotel for couples. It sits high above the west coast with wide sea and sunset views, and several of the best suites have private pools. Other room categories have outdoor jacuzzis. The hillside setting gives you much more privacy than most hotels in Naoussa. The tradeoff is isolation. There is little within walking distance, so rent a car.

Luura – Cliff – Agia Irini

The reason to stay at Luura is the sunset. Cliff Suites and Cliff Signature Suites have private pools facing west toward Antiparos, while the two-bedroom Luura Villa has its own larger pool and plenty of outdoor space. It is very much a hotel where you stay for the room and view rather than the location. Rent a car.

Andronis Minois – Parasporos

Andronis Minois is my favorite private-pool choice for families. Several of the larger suites have private pools, and the hotel sits just above Parasporos Beach. You also get a kids’ pool, spa, restaurant, and spacious suites that work much better for families than most couples-focused luxury hotels. Parikia is a short drive away.

Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros – Kampos

At Parian Chronicle, you do not need to book the most expensive suite to get a private pool. Private-pool categories include king rooms, junior suites, and larger one-bedroom suites, while other rooms have outdoor hot tubs instead. The hotel also has a spa, restaurants, and a large shared pool. Kampos is quiet and well outside the main towns, so stay here if you plan to spend plenty of time at the hotel and explore by car.

Paros Agnanti Resort & Spa – Krios, near Parikia

Paros Agnanti is a good family option if you want a bigger private pool and easy access to Parikia. Several Superior, Deluxe, Executive, and Grand Suites have private pools and sea views, including large suites for families and groups. The elevated location looks across the bay toward Parikia, and Krios Beach is nearby. The hotel’s shuttle makes trips into town easier.

Paros Palace Suites – Near Parikia

Paros Palace is the value pick on this list. Several Premium and Deluxe suites have private plunge pools with sunset views over the hills and sea. The hotel sits above Parikia rather than in town, and I would not choose it for walking back and forth. Complimentary transfers solve much of that problem. A good option if you want a private pool without paying Naoussa resort prices.

Yria Island Boutique Hotel & Spa – Parasporos

Choose Yria for the gardens and quiet setting. The Executive Suite with Private Pool has a large terrace and its own pool. Yria is close to Parasporos Beach and a short drive from Parikia, but there are fewer private-pool choices here than at Andronis Minois or Paros Agnanti.

Private Pool Hotels on the East & South Coasts

The east and south sides of Paros are quieter than Naoussa and Parikia and work well for beach-focused trips. Golden Beach and the surrounding area are good for swimming and windsurfing, though July and August can be windy. Rent a car for any hotel in this area.

Private pool at Calme Boutique Hotel, a quiet choice for couples who care more about privacy than nightlife.

Summer Senses Luxury Resort – Punda Beach

Pick Summer Senses over a Naoussa hotel if the trip is about the resort and beach rather than restaurants and nightlife. Several Summer and Senses Suites have private pools and sea views. The hotel also has large shared pools, restaurants, a spa, and plenty of space. Punda and Logaras beaches are nearby; Naoussa is a drive away.

Calme Boutique Hotel – Drios

Calme is remote, quiet, and very romantic. Many suites have their own private pool and terrace, making this one of the few hotels where the private pool is a big part of the stay rather than an upgrade attached to a handful of rooms. The setting above Drios is well removed from Naoussa’s nightlife and crowds. Stay here for privacy, sea views, and slow days around the pool. Rent a car.
