The Cave of Nikolas in Akrotiri, Santorini

The Cave of Nikolas is a charming family-run taverna on Akrotiri beach and just a few minutes from Red beach.

The Cave of Nikolas is built in a hand-carved cave by Uncle Nikolas, and has been in his family for 3 generations. This charming taverna is at the western end of Akrotiri beach and is renowned for its traditional, homemade Greek dishes using vegetables, cheese, and animals from their own farm, and fresh seafood caught that day. The food is delicious and cheap, and there are some vegetarian options as well.
