A good quality speed boat takes you to different dive spots around the caldera.
There’s a parking lot at the Caldera Beach location and a great taverna (Remezzo) with incredible views of the surrounding cliffs.
The turn off to Caldera Beach is near the village to Akrotiri. All tours do hotel pick up and drop off but only at specific times so many people drive here on their own. It’s about a 15 minute drive from Fira and 25 minute drive from Oia.
The road down to Caldera Beach has some rough spots but is fine for pretty much any car.
There’s a parking lot at Caldera Beach with plenty of parking. (It’s always fairly quiet.)
There are also training sessions at Kamari Beach.
