• Heathrow Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, serving millions of passengers each year. The airport is located to the west of London and covers an area of over 12 square kilometers. Heathrow Airport was originally built in 1929 as a small airfield for commercial and military use. During World War II, the airport was used by the Royal Air Force and was heavily bombed by the German air force. After the war, the airport was rebuilt and expanded to meet the growing demand for air travel. Heathrow Airport has four passenger terminals, numbered 2, 3, 4, and 5, as well as a dedicated terminal for cargo. Each terminal has its own set of gates and facilities, including shops, restaurants, and lounges. The airport is laid out in a semi-circular shape, with the terminals and other facilities arranged around the runways and taxiways. The central area of the airport contains a variety of services and amenities, including car rental agencies, hotels, and bus and train stations.

• Staying near Heathrow Airport gives you easy access to Windsor Castle, Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, Hampton Court Palace, and Thorpe Park.

• The Piccadilly line connects Heathrow Airport to central London and the rest of the Tube system. The journey time to Piccadilly Circus is about 50 minutes. There are three tube stations at Heathrow Airport, serving Terminals 2 and 3 (one station), Terminal 4, and Terminal 5. The Piccadilly line also stops at South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, Green Park, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Holborn, Russell Square, Kings Cross/St Pancras, and many other stations in the Greater London area.
