Our favorite Mykonos hotels and villas with in-room or outdoor swimming pools, plunge pools, cave pools, and jacuzzis.

Mykonos Private Pools
- Unlike Santorini, Mykonos doesn’t have that many hotels with private pools or jacuzzis – but it does have some and they’re usually worth the extra cost (at least for me, I love having a private pool). Be advised that in Mykonos, a “private” pool or jacuzzi is one that is reserved for your personal use. It does not mean that the pool or jacuzzi is out of sight of other guests. Many hotels are built down the side of a hill, so guests on higher floors can sometimes see down to your balcony and its pool. If you prefer more privacy, check the photos of the room or reach out to the hotel ahead of time.
- Cave pools are less common in Mykonos than in Santorini, where cave homes were traditionally built, dug into the caldera cliffs. But there are a few hotels and resorts in Mykonos that do offer them. Cave pools can be fully or partially covered, most often in an indoor-outdoor kind of space.
- Indoor pools and jacuzzis are not very common in Mykonos, since the travel season is fairly short. Most hotels here are only open when the weather is warm, so private pools and hot tubs are usually built outside on a room’s private balcony or terrace. But there are a few accommodations that offer this option, most often in the handful of hotels that are open year-round. Some hotels sell jetted bathtubs and just call them jacuzzis, so do check the room photos. A jacuzzi should be at least large enough for two and should be pre-filled with heated water, not something you need to fill on your own to use.
- Plunge pools and jacuzzis can be hard to tell apart in photos. They’re usually about the same size. Jacuzzis are always heated and jetted, while plunge pools may or may not be. If a plunge pool is heated, it’ll be just enough to knock the chill out. Warm enough for a comfortable dip, but not quite lukewarm.
- If springing for a private pool, we recommend making sure it’s heated. Though days are hot and sunny all summer long, Mykonos is often very windy during the day and cool at night. Having a jacuzzi or heated pool means it will be comfortable to use at any time, even if the weather is not ideal.
Don’t expect your “private” pool to be hidden from view. The size and arrangement of these private pools at Katikies Mykonos are typical of beach resorts on the island.
Indoor jacuzzis are not common on the island, but Semeli Hotel in Mykonos Town has this option. There are also several rooms and suites here with outdoor jacuzzis.

What’s the difference between a plunge pool and a jacuzzi? Not much. Generally, a jacuzzi is hot, small, and jetted. A plunge pool is smaller than a swimming pool, often about the same size as a jacuzzi. It may or may not have jets, and it may or may not be heated. Mykonos Town Hotels with Private Pools
Cavo Tagoo – Mykonos Town
Deos – Mykonos Town
All rooms, suites, and residences have either an outdoor jacuzzi or an outdoor, heated pool on their private terraces with sea views. There is also a large, heated infinity pool with sea views and an indoor, heated, saltwater pool in the spa available to all guests.
Lovia – Mykonos Town
All rooms and suites offer outdoor jacuzzis or heated pools (pools heated to 26°C) on their private terraces. All guests have access to two outdoor pools (both cool) and one indoor pool in the spa (heated).
My Mykonos – near Mykonos Town
Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, and One and Two-Bedroom Suites all have private pools. All guests can also use the freeform, main pool.
Ostraco Suites – Mykonos Town
Deluxe Sea View Rooms, Suite Sea View, and the Two-Bedroom Sea View Suite have private, outdoor jacuzzis. The Honeymoon Suite Sea View has a heated, private, infinity pool. The lovely main pool is also heated and open to all guests.
Semeli Hotel – Mykonos Town
Superior Spa Rooms, Garden Suites, Luxury Junior Suites, and the Executive Suite Sea View have outdoor jacuzzis. The Semeli Suite has two outdoor jacuzzis. The Executive Pool View Suite and the Two-Bedroom Spa Room have indoor jacuzzis. Facilities for all include two outdoor pools (one heated, one cool) and one jacuzzi.
Megali Ammos Beach Hotels with Private Pools
Bill & Coo Lounge Suites and Lounge – Megali Ammos
Several accommodation types have an outdoor water feature.
Honeymoon Suites have private, outdoor jacuzzis, while Deluxe Suites, Bill & Coo Villas, and the Bill & Coo Suite feature private, infinity pools. There is also a shared main pool next to the restaurant and bar.
Boheme – Megali Ammos
Most suites here offer a private, outdoor jacuzzi or plunge pool. Honeymoon Suites and the Grand Bohemian Suite have outdoor jacuzzis. Bohemian Suites give the option to choose either outdoor jacuzzis or private plunge pools. There’s a central pool for all to share with poolside service from the bar and restaurant.
Bonzoe Suites & Villas – Megali Ammos
All accommodations have a private, outdoor water element. All villas and one suite have private, heated, infinity pools on their sea-view terraces; some villas have two pools. One suite has an outdoor jacuzzi.
Myconian Korali – Megali Ammos
Phos Superior Rooms, Kynthos Junior Suites, Emar Junior Suites, and Armonia Suites have private, outdoor jacuzzis, while Aeon Superior Rooms and Era Junior Suites have private pools. Delos Junior Suites, Delos Premium Junior Suites, Cyclades Suites, and Ortigia Suites have both jacuzzis and private pools. Oria Superior Rooms offer sharing pools, semi-private pools shared with neighboring rooms of the same type. There is a sea view, saltwater pool for all guests’ access next to the lounge.
Myconian Kyma – Megali Ammos
About half of all room and suite types offer a private, outdoor jacuzzi, pool, or both. Aegean Rooms, Paragon Suites, and Sunset Suites have private, outdoor jacuzzis, while Horizon Superior Rooms have private pools. Mediterranean Suites have both outdoor, private jacuzzis and pools with sea views. Guests also share access to the two main pools, set in tiers in the middle of the property.
Myconian Naia – Megali Ammos
Naia Suites can have private pools, outdoor hot tubs, or neither, but they all have sea views. There is also a rectangular infinity pool with sea views open to all guests.
Ornos Beach Hotels with Private Pools
Adorno Beach Hotel – Ornos
Design Maisonettes have private, outdoor jacuzzis. Honeymoon Suites and Premium Maisonettes have private pools. There is also a shared, main pool for all and direct beach access.
Kensho – Ornos
Most rooms and suites feature a private, outdoor hot tub or plunge pool. Junior Suites and Design Suites offer outdoor hot tubs. VIP Junior Suites have private pools. Deluxe Rooms have the option to choose a hot tub or plunge pool. There are also two pools (one by the restaurant and one in the spa) and a huge rooftop jacuzzi for all guests’ use.
Kivotos – Ornos
Many suites and all villas offer private pools in a variety of styles. Above is the Two Bedroom Suite with Pool. Their Signature Suite 130 has a glass infinity pool. The Mykonos Honeymoon Luxury Suite is the only one with an outdoor jacuzzi. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s two infinity pools (one saltwater, one freshwater) with attached jacuzzis.
Myconian O – Ornos
All ground floor rooms and suites (about half of the hotel’s total accommodations) have private pools. There are also two shared pools onsite: an outdoor pool by the bar/restaurant and an indoor cave pool in the spa. The hotel offers direct access to the beach.
Mykonos Blanc – Ornos
Honeymoon Suites and the Friends & Family Suite offer private, outdoor jacuzzis. The Blanc Pool Suite has a private pool. The resort also boasts a beachfront, saltwater pool in a classic, kidney shape and direct access to Ornos Beach.
Mykonos Cactus – Ornos
Executive Suites have private, outdoor jacuzzis. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s main pool next to the bar and restaurant.
Portes Suites & Villas – Glastros, near Ornos Beach
Superior Suites and Three-Bedroom Villas have either an outdoor jacuzzi or private pool. The Two-Bedroom Villa has a private pool. All guests can use the hotel’s main pool in the heart of the property.
Santa Marina – Ornos
All 12 villas have either a private pool (10 villas) or an outdoor jacuzzi (2 villas). The Mykonian Cottage has a private, outdoor jacuzzi, while the Luxury Seaview Suite and Two Bedroom Luxury Seaview Suite both have private, outdoor pools. Adults have access to a saltwater pool, while the main pool and attached jacuzzi are open for families with children. The resort also has its own private beach.
Platis Gialos Beach Hotels with Private Pools
Branco – Platis Gialos
Two room types, the Honeymoon Sea View Rooms and Jacuzzi Sea View Suites come with outdoor, private jacuzzis. There is also a shared pool on the beach and direct beach access.
Nissaki Boutique Hotel – Platis Gialos
Most Suites have the option of booking with or without an outdoor jacuzzi or private pool. Myconian Grand Suites have direct access to a semi-private pool shared by a couple of other suites in the same category. There are three more pools for all guests to use: the main pool, a jacuzzi pool, and a free form pool.
Petasos Beach Resort – Platis Gialos
Most suites and villas boast private, outdoor, infinity pools with sea views, while Outdoor Jacuzzi Classic Rooms have outdoor jacuzzis. Superior Rooms with Sharing Pools have semi-private infinity pools; each room shares with only one neighboring room. Onsite, all guests can enjoy a saltwater, split-level infinity pool as well as an outdoor jacuzzi.
Agios Ioannis Beach Hotels with Private Pools
Anax Resort – Agios Ioannis
Most Suites include some type of private, outdoor water feature. Exclusive, Luxury, Anax, Anax 2 Bedroom, Exclusive 2 Bedroom, and Exclusive Maisonette Suites come with saltwater plunge pools. Luxury Beachfront Suites have outdoor jacuzzis. There are also two saltwater infinity pools and a large jacuzzi, all with sea views, available to all guests, plus a private beach.
Katikies – Agios Ioannis
Almost all rooms and suites include an outdoor jacuzzi or private pool. There are also two infinity pools onsite for available to all guests.
Mykonos Grand Resort – Agios Ioannis
Premium Garden View Rooms share a semi-private pool. Premium Jet Tub Sea View Rooms and Executive Sea View Suites have their own private, outdoor jacuzzis. The following categories have private pools that can be heated on request: Suite with Private Pool, Deluxe Suite with Private Pools, Signature Suite with Private Pool, Grand Suite with Private Pool, and the Mykonos Grand Villa. There is also an enormous, heated, saltwater pool for all guests to share, as well as a jacuzzi and access to a private, serviced beach.
Agios Stefanos Beach Hotels with Private Pools
Amyth of Mykonos Agios Stefanos – Agios Stefanos
All suites have a private pool or outdoor jacuzzi. The Delos Sea View Suite has a private, outdoor jacuzzi. Aegean Sea View and Amyth Sea View Suites have private, outdoor pools. Cyclades Partial Sea View Suites also have private, outdoor pools, but these can be heated on request. There is also a central pool in the hotel’s courtyard for all guests.
Domes Noruz – Agios Stefanos
Many rooms and suites include private hot tubs, plunge pools, or swimming pools. Upbeat Retreats have the option of adding a private, outdoor jacuzzi. Sublime Suites have your choice of a plunge or swimming pool, and Pure Havens have either an outdoor jacuzzi or a swimming pool. A sea-view infinity pool next to the bar and restaurant is open to all guests.
Grace – Agios Stefanos
Most accommocations have a private plunge pool, including Premium Suites, Mykonos Suite, Grace Suite, Junior Suites, Family Suites, and some Deluxe Rooms. There is also a shared infinity pool for all with sea views.
Mykonos Princess – Agios Stefanos
Honeymoon, Deluxe, and Princess Jetted Tub Sea View Suites all have private, outdoor jacuzzis on their balconies. There is also a lovely main pool for all guests next to the bar and restaurant.
Mykonos Riviera – in Tourlos, near Agios Stefanos
Most rooms and suites feature private, outdoor jacuzzis, pools, both, or have access to a sharing pool. The Mykonos Riviera 8 Bedroom Villa offers one large and two small infinity pools, heated on request. Two more pools are offered to all guests: the heated, main infinity pool and the indoor thalassotherapy pool in the spa.
Mykonos Soul – Agios Stefanos
All suites have either a private, outdoor jacuzzi or heated pool with sunset and sea views.
Rocabella Hotel – Agios Stefanos
All suites and some Deluxe Sea View Rooms include private plunge pools. The Rocabella Villa has a private swimming pool. The hotel is centered on a main infinity pool for all guests.
Psarou Beach Hotels with Private Pools

About half of all accommodations include a private, outdoor jacuzzi or pool on their sea view terraces. There are also four pools (two infinity pools and two sea view pools with bars) available to all guests.
Votsalaki Resort – Paradise Beach
Many room types come with private pools or jacuzzis. Some Villas and Superior Apartmentshave glass pools. Some Two-Bedroom Design Superior Apartments have private, outdoor jacuzzis, while some Apartments have private pools. All guests can share the main infinity pool on the sun terrace next to the bar and restaurant.

Cali – Kalafatis Beach
Most suites and all villas have private outdoor, saltwater plunge pools or infinity pools heated to your chosen temperature. The Three-Bedroom Villa Calliope has two pools, while the Four-Bedroom Villa Calliope has three pools. The shared main pool is an enormous 130 square meters, stretched long like a river. A smaller, heated pool is in the spa.
Casa del Mar – Aleomandra
The Signature Seaview Jacuzzi Villa has a private, outdoor hot tub. The Royal Beachfront Villa, Su Casa Beachfront Villa, Soluna Casa Villa, and the Magnificent Villa Sunset have private infinity pools. The Genesis Villa has an infinity pool with an attached jacuzzi. There is an indoor pool in the spa, and the property has direct access to a secluded beach.
Kalesma – Aleomandra
All suites and villas have private pools that can be heated on request. The shared, main infinity pool is heated seasonally in the cooler months of spring and fall.
The Margi Villa – Agios Sostis Beach
The villa has an infinity pool that can be heated on request.
Panormos Village – Panormos Beach
Most rooms and suites have private, outdoor jacuzzis or heated pools. Guests also have access to an infinity pool with views to the Panormos Beach and the sea.
