Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught Place – Style, tradition, and charm in the midst of downtown.
Right in the center of all the action around Connaught Place, this boutique hotel provides elegance and history. Spread along an upper level and pleasingly soundproofed, rooms are compact and functional and feature some Indian-style decorations. Half the rooms connect to a common, semi-private terraced courtyard with views of the road two floors below; the remainder overlook the far quieter inner streets. Smaller and more personable than other four and five-star hotels in downtown, the Radisson still offers impressive amenities (though there’s no space for a pool), and it’s very handy to several facilities, park, and metro station.
Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught Place – The Location

Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught Place – Local Transport
- Walking: Everything tourists need – and so much more – is within a few minutes’ walk in all directions. It gets far quieter further within the circle and closer to the park.
- Public Transport: The Delhi Metro is quick, reliable, and excellent value. The closest metro station, Rajiv Chowk, is only 200m; head along the side-street towards the park (2-minute walk). Additionally, the hotel is about 1.5km by auto-rickshaw from the New Delhi railway station, with services all over India (7-minute drive).
- Taxis & Rickshaws: Taxis are white, poorly-signed, and surprisingly hard to find. Best arranged through the hotel. None will use a meter and all are outrageously overpriced, so many locals use Uber and Ola. Contrastingly, auto-rickshaws are everywhere.

Shops
- All sorts of places to shop, eat, and drink in every direction around Connaught Place. The (1-way) outer ring road which the hotel faces is very noisy. Radisson Blu Marina Hotel Connaught Place – The Hotel

The hotel is part of a low-level colonial-era building in the city center.

The Radisson Blu is in G Block of Connaught Place, the busiest area for shopping and eating in Delhi.

A small café within the lobby area offers pastries, cakes, and coffee.

FIFTY9 is where breakfast is served. It also offers meals all day.

The Great Kabab Factory is hugely popular for meat and vegetable skewers using various traditional cooking methods.

Attached to FIFTY9 is The Connaught bar and lounge.

Despite the limited space around the hotel, there are several guest lounges.

An atrium within the hotel is a relaxing place to unwind, distant from the incessant traffic outside the hotel.

The Radisson Blu features a stylish design, including corridors lined with prints of ancient India.

On the ground floor is the impressive Sohum Spa.

Rooms and suites are along either side of the extended corridors. Some face the very noisy outer ring road; others overlook the far quieter inner streets within Connaught Place.

Rooms are compact and likeable, with prints of old India on the walls.

Windows are not as large as those in other hotels, but this is to minimize noise and light from the busy ring road outside. The rooms are adequately soundproofed.

Bathrooms are also compact, but attractive and functional.

The garden courtyard near the lobby is a dedicated smoking area.

Rooms are 2 floors above the very busy outer ring road at Connaught Place.

The Radisson Blu is at Connaught Place, a historic and fascinating area packed with places to eat, drink, and shop.

Terraces line the entire outer ring road, which is several kilometers long.

Oh My Gopala! is an appealing restaurant that focuses on cuisine from across India. Only 50m around the corner from the hotel.

Pioneer’s Flavours of China is one of several similar restaurants in the immediate area.

Right next to the hotel entrance is the spacious and sophisticated China Garden restaurant.

Cibamor is a chic European-style bistro within a 2-minute walk of the hotel.

The Delhi Metro is clean, fast, efficient, and very cheap. And the nearest station is only 200m from the hotel.

Above the metro station and in the middle of Connaught Place, Central Park is a popular place for locals to relax.

Of course, there are plenty of auto-rickshaws around the streets near the hotel.
